The CAA strongly recommends the provision of at least the following equipment.  The sizes of equipment are not detailed but should be appropriate for the types of helicopter expected to use the facility.

• Foldable Ladder – useful for maintenance and cleaning
• First Aid kit
• Screwdriver set
• Fireman’s lifeline
• Power cutting tool
• Fire Blanket in a case PVC
• Hacksaw
• Gloves
• Crowbar
• Adjustable spanner
• Marine multi-function tool
• Bolt cutters 90cm
• Powder coated orange SS locker

** This equipment is required for each helideck crew member.
