Microlux L-854 radio controller is designed to provide pilots direct, unassisted air-to-ground control of helipad lighting systems. Microlux Radio Controller allows the pilot to control the helipad lighting system via VHF Radio Air Band.
Microlux Radio Controller allows the pilot to control the helipad lighting system via VHF Radio Air Band. The L-854 radio receiver comes complete with dipole antenna, lightning arrestor and 6 meters (20 feet) of coaxial antenna cable. This field tunable radio allows pilots to activate helipad lighting with a series of 3 or 5 microphone clicks in a 5 second period. Once the system is activated, a 20 minute countdown begins after which the lights will automatically turn off; the length of the countdown can also be altered by the user from 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
